I do think it’s something with the mom and Tree sharing the same birthday. but I don’t think it’s a Harry Potter build, where the mom’s last dying gasp of love or whatever ‘protects’ the child. and I don’t think the candles are the Easter egg. I think it’s something with the bracelet. wonder if . . . maybe the mom died of cancer, the bracelet, unhasped, is in the shape of the letter “C,” and the bracelet is TOUCHING the phone that “Dad” is calling on ON her birthday. and, since the ringtone was changed last-minute, I doubt it’s involved in the bigger story. excited to see what the real answer is.
