Just back. Another whirlwind thirty-six hour turnaround, but, man, got to talk with so many cool and excellent people, got to be part of the coolest awards ceremony—singing, drumming, storytellers, veterans. It was this: And at the end of it all, I got the mic—had to set my Whataburger sweet down for it: And got
Such an honor to get to do this event in downtown Missoula, at the museum. Standing room only—there was even a spillover area (I see now): And, wow, to be introduced by Lois Welch and Chris La Tray: And then it was off to the reading races. Hit a couple small pieces, then it was
(was on tour for a couple weeks this short-short month, so was imbibing media at a much slower rate . . . )

But, these are the tweets about Reaper I thought to
Wow, ending this whole wild ride right back where I live—where I usually live, anyway. So cool. Have never packed this place either, but, there were people sitting to either side as well. Such a good Q&A, and it’s always the best, speaking with Arsen and Maeve. The radio + podcast version should post .
Have done a lot of events at Tattered Cover over the last dozen or so years, but I’ve never managed to fill the place such that they had to bring out more chairs. Was the best time. Snowy-bad night—really appreciate everybody making the trek. As for me, once again, I skated in about forty-five seconds
First, it was Brian Asman on the rocking intro: Then it was getting to talk with RJ Crowther—who’s IN the acknowledgements of Reaper! Got to sign a really rare one—and to Shane, which makes it extra cool: And seeing how tabbed up a book can get—so cool: Then posed with Reaper and Rob afterwards, for
Man, who’d have ever thought this would happen, right? Also was trending WITH Steely Dan! Even bounced all the way to the top: And that hashtag was persistent, kept hanging around: And . . . then Talking Scared‘s video clip (clip of the podcast ep) was showing up at the hub (clip here): So? Pretty
Was in town for this this this: With these guys: And we got to introduce, get everybody screaming “We made you!” And then it was the live recording, and the signing of many-many books, and the BookPeople people teaching me the Gaiman-method of signing a lot at once: And here’s what it looked like from

I can’t shake these two into the right order, but, few interviews before hitting The Strand—this being one of them: And another: Which is here: And somewhere in there, heading up to the Simon & Schuster offices, I saw THIS in the lobby of 30 Rock: Just Joe and me: And then a solo shot
It’s a good thing I don’t have the basketball channels. Otherwise: far fewer novels. But, man, stuff like this:
Started out like this, from the so-many-signatures of the night before: And, man, one thing I never get to do on the road? Hang onto any of the excellent posters: And then it was talking with Gabriel Venditti on-stage and . . . signing signing signing:
Started out talking with Becky Spratford for B&N: And . . . it’s here, still: Then it was hanging with Tim Seeley and Jim Terry: And the next day I was all over town (thanks to Jim), signing every Reaper that would stay under my pen: Which all led up to . . . LAUNCH
