Brooklyn Book Festival

Was a blast:

Night before was the big party. SA Cosby and me just before:

Getting to hang with @blacktopkid.bsky.social in Denver AND Brooklyn in the same 72hrs? It’s a charmed life.

Though, later that night, just before it closed I need some of this, of course:

Second Chipotle meal so far, here. Think I’m liking Brooklyn.

After another run to Chipotle (next day), I stumbled on:

I mean, I don’t really have time. But I also can’t not.

Then it was the panel, with Christine Li and Amber Spark, moderated by Tobias Caroll:

Doing a massive @sgj.bsky.social video drop below from the Brooklyn Book Fest. All about writing (and horror).

Signing line went an hour, after which I met this dude:

Why in the world does little dude look scared out of his mind? May be because he knows @sgj.bsky.social is the guy who wrote about eating pinkie fingers in Killer On the Road. He gave him permission to try and eat fingers… like mine.

Bought too many books, too—well, too many for my bag, but they’re shipping home to me, so I’ll have them soon. Anyway, first time in Brooklyn. Will surely be back again.
