Thanks for this. I love to read what writers enjoy reading. I discovered that I actually like WESTERNS these last few years. Larry McMurtry in particular, because it made so many writers lists. Strange for a 62 yo female to pick up a western, and like it, as I thought westerns were exclusively for Old Men. I have a lot of reading to catch up on according to this list. The first being Mystic River. I read The Lesser Dead based on one of your recommendation. I’m still haunted by it. I want to read it again but I’m scared. I read your reads from lately articles, too.
