Well, I say “first couple,” but I’ve been on the road since Wednesday, been signing stacks of them to the horizon since Thursday. But, it only officially went live yesterday.
Here it is in the big main display in the ground-floor lobby of Simon & Schuster—such an honor to be there:

While a lot of cool booksellers have made endcaps and displays for my books, this is the first time I’m seeing one with official signage:

And here it is three-deep in Fargo, ND, first table you bump into at Barnes & Noble:

Even got cool, ginormous window-stuff happening:

These are the first copies I caught in an airport (Boston, Ink by Hudson):

And here’s @paperbackbish with a completely justifiable stack of the Exclusive Editions—clock those edges! Imagine the extra content!

Here it is in the UK:
First time signing a Slurpee cup:
And here’s the coolest hand-carved RV stamp I can imagine, gifted to me by a reader in . . . must have been NYC:

And, finally, here’s my left-hand, the last thirty-six hours, and maybe for the rest of the tour:

But? Luckily I sign with my right. This is one of these situations:

But, it’s not from signing, it’s from . . . you guessed it: using that hand to open all the books up to the title page. Which people usually have their post-its with their names on, so it’s perfect. Except for my jacked-up thumb (get it from my grandma, who had to have her thumb joint replaced—figure I’m in that line as well).
But? I’ll keep doing it as long as folk keep lining up.
Thanks, all. Been a blast, so far. And I’m not even halfway across the country, yet. Still three more stops—four, counting the Boulder Bookstore event in November.

The stamp! So good!
